Karen Wolstenholme is a career diplomat and the current British ambassador to Pyongyang, DPRK.[1] She replaced Peter Hughes, who will be transferring to another Diplomatic Service appointment.[2]
She took up the post in September 2011.[2] Her previous work with The Foreign Office has included postings in The Hague, Wellington, Harare, Dublin, London and Paris.[2]
